Childhood Obesity

 Children are removed from their homes everyday by child protectiveservices. They are usually abused, neglected, and malnurished. But should children be removed from thier parents or guardians care if they are Over nurished? We all know that CPS is here to protect our children. So wouldn't removing an over weight child from a home doing justice to that child? In my opinion an over weight child is being neglected. The parent is not doing their duty of providing the child with proper nurishment. The child has the right to a safe and healthy life. Children die everyday due to health issues that are associated with their weight and health. We do not need an OVER WEIGHT AND UNHEALTHY AMERICA. With CPS doing their job of protecting our young nation we can worry about other things such as our economy and eduaction and not worry about such questions as: will my child die of heart diseas?
