Blogging And Me
When I was first told to start blogging I felt like it was just another homework assignment. One that I would not enjoy, and it seemed to be just a waste of my time. Fortunately, for me, that is not the case so far. I do occasionally, get caught up in other assignments, but when I finally get to, its almost a comfort. Choosing what I get to blog about and stating my opinion on it really relieves stress. If I happen to be struggling in school that day I can blog about the stress teens go through in high school, any that's on my mind will do ,but I must blog in an articulate manner. I'm looking forward to more blogging in the future because this has really improved my vocabulary and the way I tackle writing prompts.
Leaving The Rest of The World Behind
Nowadays the world, well in some parts, is advancing very rapidly, with all of the high tech gadgets and gizmos daily life is almost lived for us. Every thing is simpler yet still very complex. We wake up to this technology that makes our life better and we fall asleep with it right beside us. Even now as you read this blog you probably have one right in your pocket, beside you, and even directly in front of you. Many of these gadgets are beneficial such as: a simple cell phone, which is a necessity for communication, our cars that we use for transportation, the internet, our global news paper and many others. On the other hand, many other high tech conveniences are simply unnecessary. Developed countries are steadily developing technologies that is honestly not needed, while developing countries struggle to produce the basic necessities needed to survive.
To be precise, Just yesterday I was on Youtube and I happened to watch a video that really got me thinking. The video was titled Futuristic Japanese Cars. When I watched the video I was astounded with the technology. One of the cars featured was a car that could turn 360ยบ, it included a talking robot that can read emotions and comfort the driver when needed. Do not get me wrong this advancement in Japanese technology is amazing, but what about the millions of Japanese citizens that battle with the endeavor of attaining food everyday. The ones not only in japan, but ones all around the world who are left behind. The ones that will never in a million years even dream of owning a car that costly. The ones that are left behind. The ones that, instead of saving hundreds of dollars for an expensive phone, they save cents to buy a sack of rice. The ones that work in farms for 12 hours a day with still no food on their own table. The ones that work for these large manufacturing companies, yet will never afford to buy the products they make.
The rest of the world should not be able to advance while the majority is Left Behind!
